About Home Mortgage Services

Home Mortgage Services was created after I made the decision to step away from my role as a mortgage advisor with one of the country’s largest estate agents. I love helping clients achieve their dream of home ownership, from assisting with the house search & negotiating the price for them if they wish, through to ensuring the removal van is booked and they are properly protected during any hard times. Following this passion without the pressure of following a set agenda has been a breath of fresh air and a decision I haven’t looked back from.
 
I have worked in customer focused environments for 27 years now with last 5 years as a Mortgage Consultant, and it wasn’t too long after the birth of my eldest daughter, when I started to have the desire to make the move to starting Home Mortgage Services. As I saw her for the first time, and as I slowly grew into the role of ‘daddy’, I realised my strengths in that role and of a husband, and a few years later, daddy to another daughter, were also suitably transferable to the role of a Mortgage & Protection Consultant.

From when they were little, providing reassurance when my daughters wished it and a quick response when they called…. to the present day of listening enthusiastically to their dreams and giving them the confidence to proceed into the unknown, whilst building a long lasting relationship that we all can all benefit from.

During my time as a mortgage consultant, I have assisted hundreds of individuals, couples and families with their first purchases, refinances and house moves. My passion always has been, and continues to be customer service and building strong, lasting relationships with my clients.

By creating Home Mortgage Services, I wished to:

• Inspire clients to become home owners for the first time, by breaking down the complex regulations and formalities into clear, understood stages of a process that would allow their dreams to be realised.
• Have the opportunity of offering my clients more options and to work closely with them to create mortgage and protection solutions which were tailormade, and so suitable and individual to them.
• Work with clients who previously I would not have been able to assist.
• Provide my clients with excellent service and ensure their best interests are at the centre of all that I do.

Throughout all of this, it is important to me that my clients are always comfortable and involved.

YOUR HOME OR PROPERTY MAY BE REPOSSESSED IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON YOUR MORTGAGE. YOU MAY HAVE TO PAY AN EARLY REPAYMENT CHARGE TO YOUR EXISTING LENDER IF YOU RE-MORTGAGE.
